These studies help inform practice and guide decision making at all level of community support.
Otoniel Lopez
Founder and Lead Research Scientist
Otoniel has over 22 years of experience executing small and large scale impact studies, analyzing and communicating data, and providing technical assistance to community organizations, local governments, businesses, and academic institutions. Otoniel has supported the work of many entities in a wide range of topics including community needs, youth development, community and restorative justice, workforce development, human capital strategy implementation, arts education, family engagement and mediation initiatives, college and career-readiness, afterschool education, and many others. The extensive list of entities for whom Otoniel has performed impact measurement and evaluation work via current and prior consulting work include the NYC Department of Education, City of New Rochelle, The Body Shop, Westchester County Youth Bureau, Village of Ossining, Monroe College, Carnegie Hall Weill Music Institute, Metropolitan Opera Guild, Carver Center, Greyston, Arkansas State Dept. of Education, Country Music Association, City University of NY, and many other community, municipal and academic entities. Otoniel has an M.A. in developmental psychology with specialization in applied research at Teachers College, Columbia University and is bilingual, with the ability to conduct work fluently in Spanish.
